The Ohio Chief Probation Officer's Association (OCPOA) brings together leaders from a statewide network of criminal justice professionals to strengthen community corrections, share best practices, and advocate for effective policies that support public safety and successful rehabilitation. Membership connects those in leadership roles with others who face the same challenges and equips them with the tools needed to advance the profession.

Members receive free registration for quarterly trainings, providing high-quality professional development opportunities and training relevant to evidence-based practices and service delivery.
Statewide Networking & Collaboration
Connect with chief probation officers and administrators from juvenile, municipal, county and common pleas courts across Ohio. Share strategies, discuss challenges, and build networks that advance the effectiveness of community corrections statewide.
Advocacy for the Profession
OCPOA serves as a collective voice for probation professionals, working with policymakers and justice system partners to support legislation and policies that improve community corrections and promote effective supervision.
Members-Only Resources

Membership provides access to all OCPOA training events, networking opportunities, and member resources. As an added bonus, you'll receive a complimentary membership to the American Probation and Parole Association (APPA), expanding your access to national resources and training opportunities.
Membership Eligibility & Dues
Membership is open to agency leadership, specifically those in the role of Chief Probation Officer or Community Control Administrators. An Associate Membership may be added to each individual membership. Annual membership: $350 per person.
